This is our opportunity to tell legislators directly that New Mexico must invest in solutions to homelessness. For the 2016 session, we will advocate for $4.5 million in additional state funding for Permanent Supportive Housing and Rapid Rehousing Programs.
The deadline to register for Lobby Day is Tuesday, January 19th. Please email a complete list of each person from your agency who will be attending to Lisa Maury by the January 19th deadline. Albuquerque Rescue Mission will provide a bus to take people from Albuquerque to Santa Fe and back for those who can not or do not want to drive. The bus will pick people up in front of Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless at 7am and drop people off there upon returning to Albuquerque. If you have staff/consumers who plan to take the bus, please let Lisa know.
